It's just being one of those weeks

Well, disregard the good news in the last update. I was fired Monday, but I saw that coming so I'd redoubled my job search over the weekend. I've applied for unemployment, we'll see how that goes. Of course, Tuesday I discover that my cellphone's battery is only about as useful as a paperweight as it's presently fully charged at 1 bar of power. All the plans I had brewing for the next few months? Gone. Only good news is I didn't get yelled at by my paternal relatives because they're still impressed I held a job for over a year (Well, Grandmom was audibly upset, but not in a yelling sense... more of a holding back crying and "when are you going to stop letting your anger screw things up" sense)
